Discover the big and beautiful bay like never before with our interactive Bonne Bay Zodiac Boat Tour. Using rugged Zodiac watercraft, and traveling in small groups, we’ll venture deep into the two connecting fjords that make up the aquatic heart of Gros Morne National Park. We’ll land on shore and visit forgotten coves and resettled communities, discovering the places most visitors never see. Experience the rich history and culture of the area while learning first-hand the geological process that shaped this remarkable area and provided the foundation for Gros Morne’s UNESCO designation.
Landing on shore provides our guests with the unique experience of retracing the footsteps of the hardy early settlers that risked it all to carve out their homes here. Whales, porpoises, caribou and moose are now the current residents of many of these old homesteads and are often seen during this one of a kind Bonne Bay Zodiac boat tour.
*This experience takes place in an open Zodiac boat, and depending on weather conditions guests may get lightly sprayed with water as we navigate throughout the fjords and should plan accordingly. This is all part of the fun and a great way to beat the heat after a hard day hiking!!
