We designed our Gros Morne Picnics to not only be a tasty meal but a chance for you to relax and take a break or what we like to call, A Gros Morne Moment. Life is busy whether you’re on vacation or not. So, relax, spread out your blanket and just breath in those saltwater smells and the breathtaking vistas that make this place so special. Hidden in your basket are some special homemade treats that we have put together creating the perfect recipe to make your trip to Gros Morne more then just a feast for the eyes, but for your taste buds as well.

Our Gros Morne Picnics come two ways

Take Away - Guests who are travelling with their own transportation can pick up their freshly packed picnic basket and will be supplied with a list of our top 3 Gros Morne Picnic locations, you can choose one of our favourites or pick your own. Either way, you can’t go wrong. Spread out your blanket, dig in and take a moment to relax and enjoy those breathtaking Gros Morne views.

Zodiac Picnic - Guests participating in our Gros Morne  Zodiac Picnic will meet at our waterfront shop, after a quick safety briefing you will board the Zodiac for a quick trip across the bay to a special boat access only picnic location. Spread out your blanket, dig in and take a moment to relax and enjoy those breath-taking views of the Tablelands and the surrounding communities across the water. Keep your eyes peeled for one of the many whales, seabirds and otters that frequent the bay. After your picnic our boat will return to pick you up where transportation back to Woody Point is available.
