At Wild Gros Morne we do things a little different. We take a creative approach to how we design all of our offerings. With this in mind, we took the traditional boat tour playbook and threw it out the window. We’ve developed an exciting boating experience that immerses our guests in one of Gros Morne's truly unique regions while encouraging a sense of discovery and personal interaction with the environment.
Utilizing swift watercraft our personalized, small group experience provides excitement and adventure difficult to achieve in traditional boat tours. Venturing deep into the glacier carved valley provides a surreal experience of being surrounded on both sides by the towering cliffs of the world-renowned Tablelands and equally impressive North Arm Mountains. Visitors encounter first-hand the geological features that shaped this remarkable area and provided the foundation for Gros Morne’s UNESCO designation. Caribou, moose, bear and arctic hare all call this section of the park home and are often seen while exploring the area.
Wild Gros Morne's Tablelands Boat Tour is a unique small boat adventure unlike any other found in the park today, and provides access to an area of Gros Morne ordinarily inaccessible.
*This experience takes place in an open Zodiac boat, and depending on weather conditions guests may get lightly sprayed with water as we navigate throughout the fjord and should plan accordingly. This is all part of the fun!
