Water’s Edge Campground

Oceanfront RV Park & Campground In Gros Morne National Park

Nestled at the base of the world famous Tablelands, and just 3kms from the historical community of Woody Point,  the Water's Edge is a quaint, newly renovated lighthouse, RV park and campground. Sitting directly on the waterfront of the beautiful Bonne Bay fjord, the Water's Edge features both serviced and unserviced RV and tenting sites with fire pits, clean modern comfort stations, small cafe and bakery.  Zodiac boat tours, kayak, paddle board and fat bike rentals are available on site daily, as well as a boat launch and small marina for guests looking to explore Bonne Bay with their own vessel or kayak.

Serviced Oceanfront Campsites

We are located directly on the shore of the beautiful Bonne Bay fjord giving you the best vantage point to watch for whales, tuna, seals and other marine wildlife. Watch the fishing boats as they haul their daily catch right from your campsite.

The world has changed alot in the last few years and cleanliness has never been more important. We've been told we have the nicest comfort stations in Gros Morne, they are new, modern and most of all clean and sanitized regularly.

Close to the Trails

We are in the best location for those campers coming to Gros Morne to hike and are just mintues away from the parks best hiking & walking trails. There is also a backcountry trail to the Tablelands that leaves right from the campground that many of our guests use for hiking & biking.

Our Location and Why Stay at The Water's Edge

We are a small family run campground and we like it that way. We have a limited number of sites and personally connect with every guest to ensure they have the best possible stay while they visit Gros Morne. We often hear from guests, one of the best things about the Water's Edge is our location. We are located directly on the shore of the Bonne Bay fjord and conveniently right off Route 431, there are no rough gravel roads or complicated directions to find us! Guests can pull in, or back in to their campsites giving you the best vantage point to watch for whales and other marine wildlife right from your campsite. We also next  to Woody Point so you can visit the restaurants, craft shops and take in all the local events, yet we are also just minutes from the best hiking trails in Gros Morne National Park.

We are a small campground with a limited number of sites, and being directly on the fjord, we tend to book up quickly during June, July, August and September. We would love to have you as our guest, so please plan your dates and book ahead to ensure your site with us. A small craft shop and cafe in woody point newfoundland

Located directly onsite of the Water’s Edge campground is our sweet little Bakery, cafe and craft shop, the Bonne Bay Market. Fresh made sandwiches, salads, bakery items and made to go hiking lunches and picnics are available daily, and our coffee is on first thing every morning to get you going for your adventures. Local handcrafted knitted wear and crafts, camping supplies, knick-knacks, and snacks, you can find it all here.
